Everything you enter (card titles, start dates, check-ins, journals, difficult-moment notes, budget goals, water and period cycle logs, settings) is kept in your device's local storage. A summary of the cards you choose for the Home Screen widget is written, on the same device, to an App Group container shared between the app and its widget.
iCloud / device backup: this data is included in your device's iCloud or computer (Finder) backup so it comes back when you move to a new phone. Backups are made by Apple according to your Apple Account settings; we cannot access them.
A photo you attach to a budget goal is picked with the iOS system picker, which only gives the app the photo you select; the app does not request access to your whole photo library.
Reminders and countdown notifications are created on the device. Notification text (for example a countdown title) may appear on the Lock Screen; you can control this in iOS Settings > Notifications.
When the app crashes or hits an error, the following technical information is sent to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA; data processed in the US region) so we can fix the problem:
Never sent: your card titles, journal or note text, health and period data, screenshots, or personal identifiers. Sending personal data is disabled in the Sentry SDK (sendDefaultPii is off), and storage read errors report field names only, never content. Sentry retains these technical records for a limited period under its data retention policy and then deletes them.
To understand which parts of the app are used and to improve it, we use PostHog (PostHog Inc.; EU cloud, data hosted in the European Union — Frankfurt, Germany) for anonymous product analytics. The sole purpose is product analytics; it is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking, and it is never sold.
Events sent (only these): app opened; first-use steps (welcome, card type chosen, first card form, first card saved); card created (only the category type, e.g. "smoking", and the app language); check-in saved (only that it was saved); Premium screen viewed (which screen opened it), package selected, purchase started and restore result (lifetime / annual / monthly); language changed (new language code); widget added. Each event includes technical information such as app and iOS version, device type/model, language and time zone.
Identity: PostHog creates a random, anonymous ID in the app; it is not linked to your name, email or phone number. For purchase analysis the same anonymous ID is also passed to RevenueCat (see section 5).
Never sent: card names and titles, journal/note/crisis texts, check-in mood and notes, health and cycle data, personal identifiers, device name, the advertising identifier (IDFA) and location. Session replay, automatic capture of screen touches and IP-based location lookup are disabled.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the product (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can send objection and deletion requests to the address in section 10.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) to validate and restore Premium purchases. RevenueCat processes an anonymous user ID generated randomly by its SDK, your device's vendor identifier (IDFV, which the RevenueCat SDK sends with each request; this is not the advertising identifier and is not used for tracking), purchase and subscription records received from Apple (product, dates, trial and renewal status), storefront country/currency, and app and device version information. The anonymous analytics ID created by PostHog is also stored in RevenueCat as an attribute ($posthogUserId). Your name, email and app content are never sent to RevenueCat.
Payments, refunds and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see your payment details.
Achievement cards, reports and exports are only shared when you tap "Share", through the iOS share sheet, to the destination you choose.
Settings > Delete Data permanently removes all app data from your device; deleting the app also removes local data (manage iCloud backups from your Apple Account). You can ask us to delete technical records held by Sentry, RevenueCat or PostHog by writing to the address below; purchase records are subject to Apple's legal retention obligations.
To exercise your rights of access, correction, deletion and objection under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK, contact us by email. Because there are no accounts, you keep full control of the data on your device.
